AUEB Scholarships for Postgraduate Students — Guide

AUEB (Athens University of Economics and Business) Scholarships AUEB supports an extensive scholarship programme for students — especially postgraduates — through its own funds, endowments and corporate sponsorships. It also participates in IKY state scholarships. Scholarship Categories 1. Foundation Scholarships - "George Chalkiopoulos" Foundation: scholarships based on academic performance and financial situation — announced every October - Department of International & European Economic Studies scholarships for European topics 2. Programme-level Scholarships & Awards Many AUEB master's programmes grant their own: - Partial or full tuition waivers for candidates with high degree grades (e.g. >8.0–8.5) - Excellence awards up to €6,000 for top students at the end of the programme - Corporate-sponsored scholarships (e.g. Eurobank, ELPEDISON — €4,200–€8,400 annually per programme) 3. Statutory Tuition Waiver (Law 4957/2022) Greek citizens with a first-degree grade ≥ 7.5 and specific income criteria are entitled to request a tuition fee exemption. How to Apply 1.
